Hi just wanting to know if it would be OK to give 1 codral pill to my 9 year old son, the packet says 12 yr olds and over can have 2 every 4 - 6 hrs so 1 every 4 - 6 hrs should be OK aye? The pill contains Paracetamol 500mg, Codeine phosphate 9.5mg and (Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg) this replaces Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride which use to be in them.

The package says over 12 years old for a reason. No, this is not okay to give to your 9 year old without the doctor's permission.
