How do I get custody of a child that is not mine
I had guardainship of a friends daughter baby's mother is an drug addict and prostitute.Mother then kidnapped her daughter and child abduction got invovled the baby was returned back to me. At that time I moved out that county and was informed I had to file in this county so the investagator said she would inform the judge I was not going be at the court date because I had an appointment at legal aid to prepare papers for guardainship. The judge never got the files and gave the child back to the mother but CPS got involved because of the mothers record and the baby is in foster care I'm still being looked at as placement for the baby. What do I do to help my chances??
