My 10 yr old nephew was taken from his mother by the state (Louisiana). He hasn't had a adjudication hearing yet. My husband and myself want to adopt him, as he has been around us all his life. What steps do we take to do this? His mother and father have both agreed to allow us to do this. My nephew is in a foster home right now awaiting ajudication. Im not sure on how to proceed. Any advice would be appreciated.
