Dad has custody over sister can mom get in trouble for taking her to the DMV?
Ok... my dad has custody of my 15 year old sister and recently I went to visit my sister. She told me that she want to go try and get her drivers permit but my dad doesn't want to take her so she asked if my mom could take her instead... I told my mom but she's scared that he can press charges on her for taking her. Can he do that? Or would it be OK if mom just asks my dad if she can take? But what is he says no and ny mom still takes my sister to the DMV without my dad's permission?

What are the terms of the agreement when it comes to decision making? The custodial parent makes the decisions - or something else?

Would I go ahead without the father's permission? No. Why would the mother do that? She already knows the answer is no, she doesn't have custody (for whatever reason), it's not her call.
