    Is my house haunted?
I've lived in my house 9yrs.for the 1st yr nothing happened, then from nowhere I started hearing running upstairs, would always smell lavender ,scratching on the walls, shadows, bright lights, front door slamming and 3 times I've seen a young man, twice in my living room in broad daylight and once at my parents house.from age 6 I've never felt alone and there's always been strange occurrences,I'm 29 now,and the guy I've seen can't be the one who's been with me all these yrs as he's dressed in modern clothing, like the fashion we're wearing now.also my 2 sons and partner have witnessed unexplainable things.haunting or all in our heads?

No physically no,but it is doing my head in and scaring me rotten! It's hard to explain but just recently things have gotten worse,I'd say since I brought my daughter home from hospital, yet my eldest was 18mths when I moved in and I've since had another son and now a daughter and it didn't escalate.it feels like there's a pressure that's slowly building up,but to what? And before, all experiences were from upstairs, only odd now and again would it be downstairs but now it is happening downstairs and through the day as well as night.I live in a semi detached and know my neighbours and spoke to them and they said they have experienced things but on a different level, where I've had the "bog standard" type haunting if you like, they've had things thrown,on one occasion a folded up ironing board was slung across the room, the woman who lived there before she moved to spain(her son and his partner now live there, she gave them the house) always said her house was haunted and she'd hear things being moved in the living room and find her cushions scattered but at the time of telling me this I actually took no note as I'd just moved in,it was until a yr later that things started happening.im sorry this is so long but I just want to give you guys an idea of what's happening and so maybe receive the right answers.I hope so anyway.thank you

Ya seriously! Text speak is NOT THE LINGO HERE

You won't get an answer if you are a smartass and the paranormal is one of my boards and we all VOLUNTEER here. So unless you are not educated or English is not your second language, which it appears not be, wait in line

Actually, in that particular case it would be "you're," not "your." And no one "leaves" here -- all are volunteers and come and go as they are able to and as their real life goes.

"Shorthand" and texting are not allowed on this site. We strongly encourage good English and will delete incomprehensible gibberish.

Text speak is how lazy teenagers communicate. If you want a serious answer, in something that really is an adult subject... start typing/spelling/talking like one.

I truly do enjoy helping people in this subject, but I cannot take anyone serious when they represent themselves like that.
