Im kind of in the same sistuation with my two daughters... My ex husband and I had a mutual agreement on child support and visitation but when he remarried everything changed. Now that I don't have any rights my oldest daughter has found me and is begging me to come get her because she's not being treated right with her dad and stepmom... I talked to a lawyer and he told me that I couldn't do anything that I have to let them sit in a abusive home... Is there anything I can do

We need some details here. You start by saying that you had an agreement on support and visitation. Was that agreement court ratified by a court? You then say that everything changed when he remarried. What changed and why? Did you agree to let the step mom adopt? You say you don't have any rights, Why? Unless you agreed to a step parent adoption then why were your rights terminated or were they?

How old are the children and how long ago did this occur?

If you truly lost rights then there is nothing you can do. Your daughter can report the abuse to a school counselor and she may be then taken from the home and placed in foster care. If and when that happens, you may (long shot) have a chance to foster her.

But you need to explain why you have no rights before we can advise further.
