Why do I have dark veins on my legs?
I noticed while going swimming today that I have dark purple veins on inner right thigh. Iv'e seen them on older people before but I am only 16. I am a dancer and do a lot of stretching and Im not sure if that has anything to do with it. Im 138 lbs. So I don't think it has anything to do with weight but, Im kind of worried so If someone could tell we what it is I would highly appreciate it. Also if anyone knows how to cure it that would be great too(:

These are probably varicose veins. Although more common in older people, they can sometimes occur during puberty. At 16 years, you are not that far from puberty and it is likely that this is the cause of the blue vein in your thighs.

You do not need any treatment - they should fade over time as you get older. You can apply foundation to cover them temporarily.
