I need to get my granddaughter on my medical insurance they say I need to have custody of my grandchild to put her on it being that my daughter that had the baby is 13 years old.

Would your daughter sign guardianship OR temporary custody over to you? You cannot force her to sign.

Yeas she said she would.

If there is no health issues, can you not just buy the insurance, sorry but coverage at least in the US for a child is very cheap.

Next have you contacted social service, since the mother has no income if in the US often the state will put the child on a medicaid program

I pay $150.00 every two weeks for medical why would I pay more money when all I have to do is add the baby to mines and she my daughter has no income and I'm taking care of them

Your daughter should apply for State benefits and child support. I don't know that you can add a grandchild to your policy if you are the guardian.

I'd check before spending any money on Attorneys.
