I am still working on my problem tenant. I lawyer says that it could be months before this plays out through the legal system. I have now paid 3 months rent for my problem tenant as well as several months utilities. He is asking for time to buy a house. Do I have to give him time to buy a house. He was in the process of buying a house in June 2012. I just need him gone. How long will the court ready give him as I can't afford to pay his rent each months. Is there no protection for landlords. He has trashed by laundry room. I have no proof but the other tenants have been with me for 12 and 7 years. This never happen before. While this problem is playing out in court is there something I can do to make him pay rent but still get in out?
