My ex husband was placed on probation in 2004... in 2005 after paying all fines (he was still on probation) we moved to Al from tn. With approval he was just to return monthly for the duration of his probation. During this time I suffered a miscarriage and was in ICU for a week and then for an additional a couple days later. Afterwards we contaction p.o. And informed him of situation. All documents were faxed and p.o. Advised he would be released from probation. Now 7 years later he's been arrested and I'm not sure what to do?? Any advice??

Hopefully you've still got copies of your faxes and/or your communications with his PO. Without any documentation of what you're saying, he's screwed. Probation transfers between states don't work like you described. From THEIR perspective, he absconded...

In any case, he's going to need a lawyer to fight this on his behalf.

Yes, you hire an attorney and I agree, if you don't have copies of all the paper work he is in deep trouble.
