Because I start my new birth control pill packs on a Tuesday and there is a delay between when the active pills finish and my period begins, I always get my period on the weekend. If I start my new pack one day early for the next 3 months (making my eventual start date for a new pack Saturday), will that compromise the effectiveness of the pill over those 3 months and/or cause spotting?
