Hi I need help with something and would be glad if someone could help me.

My friend is on a conditional discharge and is on probation for a year. He wants to apply for a job but they are asking for a background check on criminal record.
Will the conditional discharge show up on a criminal record? And will this affect the job.

Of course it will show up on a background check, that is what they are for. As to that effecting his chances of a job, that is up to the employment qualifications of the job itself, but no one would want anyone with a criminal record if they have to be bonded for the job.

I am not saying it is a criminal record, sorry for the catch all phrase, but will show up on a background check,
