Why is my boyfriend ignoring me?
My boyfriend and I are both 17. I am a senior and he is a junior. We have been dating for almost 5 months and we did not have a strong relationship to start with. I am his first girlfriend and he is my first boyfriend, so I figured it would take some time to find some common ground on dating.
Well, firstly, we didn't text that much because he would never answer my messages, or he would but very late or with one worded responses. I was usually the one starting the conversations.
Also, we did not spend much time together. We saw each other once a month, outside of school, because he worked all the time. His dad makes him work a lot because he won't help my boyfriend do anything. And I feel like I am always taking up his time.
About 2 weeks ago, he stopped texting me back completely so I stopped texting him. I saw him for the first time this week and he didn't say anything to me. Today, he looked at me straight in the eyes and walked away.
Is this a sign that I have just been dumped?

Most likely, a good boyfriend doesn't ignore his girlfriend. Forget about this guy, clearly he's not interested in a relationship yet.

Do I just walk up to him and break up with him or should I just ignore him back? Sorry about all the questions, I just don't know what to do.

That's up to you, it depends really on how you feel things should end. Do you want to stoop to his level and give him a taste of his own medicine, or call him out on how he is acting and take command.

Choice is yours, but whatever you do, don't go back to him. It will just happen again and again.

You said you never really had a relationship anyway. I'd just leave it alone. He's obviously not talking to you so don't talk to him either.
Or call him and say, let's call it quits. Sounds like it already is though.
