Drain hole too small plastic bath sink
Plastic sink drain hole too small for the normal popup drain. Should I drill it out?

    Hi Tempasure

Is your new pop-up drain plastic or metal? If the pop-up drain is plastic I would prefer to see you shave a little of the plastic off the pop-up before drilling/sanding the sink drain hole.

If that won't work I would suggest trying another pop-up assembly before messing with the sink, but if that fails then you can try enlarging the hole using a coarse sanding wheel, or something similar. I wouldn't "drill" the sink unless it is a last resort.

    Your thoughts?
