Why Do People Hate Me , Just Because I Speak The Truth ?
I just lost ( not died ) a friend yesterday, just because I posted something on Facebook, which have no , at any point , related to him . Its just about this guy ( FYI I didn't mention the name , I just post what he said ) who is like 3 years older than me and posting awkward, weird pickup lines to the girl he just added , and in this case my school is full with people like these.

So I posted about how weird and desperate the people our school can be , into knowing girls ( FYI I'm in a boy's school) . Then a lot of likes I got myself from it , then loads of comments ( 90% is my friends ) and then there's him hating and all saying I'm humiliating people and stuff , just to sleep better at night etc...

I think he got offended by wallpost that I did after that, which I wrote Hate Me Or Love Me , Im Just Speaking The Truth , He thought that I was ing him with that post , maybe that's what started the ''Fight''

Can I know why do people hate me so much for being straightforward? And saying the truth? I find that a lot of people is unable to think like I do...

    And Im 18 this year

    Thanks :)

I doubt the people actually hate you but you, young people especially don't need to post every thought and emotion on face book. You can't control how people feel about what you say, but if you out it out there, you have to deal with the consequences.
You said "people in our school" you didn't have to mention names. You've already insulted people.

Stop with all the drama! Keep your own counsel and stop posting all this stuff on FB walls. I got annoyed with you by just reading your post even though I have no interest in any of this.

I'm with Wondergirl on this one completely. I'm also one who's annoyed at people who post their every move on Facebook.

Want to know how I avoid it? I only use Facebook for what it was meant for, keeping in touch with my family because we live a few hours away from each other.

People need to stop needing Facebook like it's a vital organ.

I'm hoping FB will soon become a pipeline for the transference of fresh homemade baked goods. My mother owes me an apple pie and a pan of frosted pecan pull-aparts.

Because you offered your opinion when no one asked you for it. Although you ostensibly received support from 90% of your friends, they may secretly resent you for posting that. And that's worse than that one kid who called you out on it, because then you're surrounded by folks who you think are allies when they are not.

Avoid injecting opinion whenever possible, even if it's praise. People who do that on a consistent basis dilute the value of their opinion, so it's often ignored.
