My generator not proper run in natural gas? Please tell me what happened?

My gas generator(2.5kva) not run properly..

The most common problem with gaseous-fired equipment is the diaphragmatic valve that opens to allow the natural or propane gas into the intake stream. Without any model info on machine or engine, I can say little more.

Lutin 2000 watts generator starts on propane but not run on it. After 2 minutes its shut down.
What's the problem please identify.

Likely the regulator for the propane is bad or out of adjustment(if it is adjustable.)
