When I was 19 I was convicted of felony conspiracy in the state of Vermont. I am now 36 and live in Mississippi and have recently had my record sealed. I was wondering if I could now apply for a firearms permit or would I be denied and waste my money and time?

You will need to talk to the clerk, in Georgia, you have to formally have your rights restored first.

In fact I just renewed my permit in Georgia today, it asks if any records where sealed, So go down and talk to the clerk and you may know more
