Me and my boyfriend had sex and realized afterwards that the condom broke. When I went to the bathroom directly afterwards I noticed I got my period.. Is it likely I am pregnant ? Please help

NOT getting your period is a sign that you are pregnant. GETTING your period 99.9% of the time means you are NOT pregnant.

You got lucky this time. Next time you may not be so lucky.

You can get pregnant during your period, so you'll have to wait and see, since you got your period immediately after having sex.

It is possible to ovulate while on your period. Happens more often then people think.

You'll have to wait until your next period is due. If you miss it then try a pregnancy test.

Judy, just want to point out that the OP got her period right after she had sex and noticed that the condom broke. So pregnancy is possible. There's a good chance she's not, because most women ovulate before their period, but, pregnancy can happen even during your period.

I have a feeling you didn't see that she got her period right after she had sex, so just an fyi. :)

Thought the chances of pregnancy during a period were very, very slim. I guess we'll know in a month.

I thought it was the other way around - sperm can live for days and so if you have sex during your period and ovulate shortly thereafter - bingo!

I will agree, it is very very unlikely, but it is slightly possible. You will not know for sure till next period.

The chances are slim, but not nonexistent. I have two friends that got pregnant while on their period. Rare, but possible.
