As'Salamu Alaikum, What are the rulings according to Qur'an & Sunnah or from a reliable Sheik ( ibn Taymiyah,. Nawahwi,. Fawhzan etc.) pretaining to muslims on partaking in or sponsoring any social gatherings for the purposes of giving dawah especially while being incarcerated for example I am incarcerated & here we have a few brothers in the muslim community that want to sponsor a "meeting of the minds" so to speak to deal with the topics of socity & how to help oneself so he doesn't become a re-offender
