My drivers license was suspended for a DUI almost a year ago.. I would carpool with my sister since we work together and same schedule.. this day my sister was sick and unable to go to work so I made the stupid decision to drive my car since work is like 5 min away.. red light camera flashes me
.. I'm going to pay the fine but I'm worried that I will get jail time..? Help

My guess is that all the camera knows is the fact that the car ran the light. They don't know you were driving. On the other hand, it will probably be reported. You should pay the fine wilthout admitting that you were driving, if possible.

Take this as a warning: next time it happens, call in sick, take a cab, hitch-hike, something.

Red light cameras that I am familiar with (and things may have changed) trigger a ticket to the owner of the vehicle. They have only the tag number to go on.
In some instances, someone driving another person's car runs a red light and the owner of the vehicle gets the ticket and is responsible to pay the ticket, even though the owner wasn't driving. I would pay it as quickly and quietly as possible-- and stop running through red lights, and stop driving illegally for 5 minutes or five seconds.

The ticket just goes ot the owner, they don't care who was driving as long as the ticket is paid, most are paid to private companies and they don't report this expect to send city money.

I would just pay it and forget it.
