    Tenant move out and left some stuff in apartment in canada
    My tenant signed lease for one year but after 4 months give me notice of termination and after six months moved out, We finde new teanant and two days after new tenant moved in. After about 6 days called and asked for some stuff that he said left in apartment. There was some garbage left that we throw away but can not remember if we saw the stuff that they are asking for. We are new in this bussines this is our first apartment that we are renting so we are not sure what to answer, Are they suppose to move out all they stuff out at and of lease.

    Were is the apartment located, laws vary. In general, when a tenant leaves in this type of situation anything left behind is considered abandoned property. That is assuming he left at the end of the month he said he was leaving and was not paying rent for the time when the new tenant moved in.
