1975 shovel runs apprx. 20-30 min. then dies. Last week. After 40 mile ride lites went out . Took housing off at switch and wire was off soldered prong.
Installed new switch (soldered ). Wk. before ignition switch failed, replaced ignition. Now after 20-30 min. of causual driving, bike dies. Apprx. 30 min. later it fires back up- as if nothing was problem . Last year had electronic ignition installed, and housing seems hot , but don't know what is normal ?
