My Honda civic acts like its not getting fuel when driving above third gear. When this happens there is a buzzing noise under the dash. What is causing this? Is it a short or is my fuel pump going out?

. Verify that the CEL consistently comes on and goes off, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II).

. Check for codes.

. Check/replace the main relay.
