I have been on the pill for 8 years and have never experienced spotting. The pill I am on and have been on for the last three years is orthocept. Recently I have experienced dark brown spotting on and off in different flow levels for the past three weeks. Along with this I have had cramping nausea blotting dizzy spells and fatigue when I took a test it told me not pregnant. Is there a chance I am and the test is wrong?

It could be too soon for the home pregnancy test.. You may want to wait to see if you miss your period, also if you take some antibotics it cancels out your birth control I think, and also if you miss a pill.

I also have been having some spotting but I am on no birth control, and that is the only sign I am having so far... good luck :)

Any time you have sex, even while on the pill, pregnancy is possible. Are you? There's no way for us to be able to tell you that. There's simply no way to diagnose pregnancy via the internet.

This is obviously something you never experienced before with this pill. I would see your doctor, tell him/her what's going on, and have a blood test done. A blood test is a more accurate test than a urine test, for pregnancy.
