    Derivative immigrant
My green card holder mother in law applied for my husband's immigration before our marriage. After getting married he informed NVC with my papers to include me, but his immigration got canceled. Does that make me derivative immigrant? I am applying for f1 visa and I need to answer if anyone applied for my immigration. What should be the answer?

You answer yes, of course, he applied for you. It doesn't matter who got cancelled.

Sorry can't add any information regarding immigratiion status, we are not a government subsidiary. You will have to consult with the immigration office from whatever country you are applying to.
