My husband now is illegal but we passed the first interview. After that everything went downhill. He became very abusive with his words. I want to know is there anyway I can get out of it before the 2nd interview? Like an annulled marriage or a divorce?

Where? File for divorce. That will end the Immigation process.

File for divorce... you don't need his permission... and if you get called in to a second interview... tell them you have filed for divorce, and why and hand them copies of the papers you filed.. and tell them you aren't living together any longer... those two points will bring his application process to a screeching halt.

An annulment needs his consent... a divorce doesn't.

But the question is will I get in trouble?

No it wasn't

Then you shouldn't get into trouble.

First the marriage is not "illegal" you are merely married to a person who is not legally in this country.

You would file for divorce like anyone else.
