Honda pushmower starts but dies immediately
Honda mower will start but dies after a couple seconds.
Mower was running fine. Stopped to refill gas and mower will not run. If you take the mower out of the choke position it dies even faster.

Maintenance performed last week. New oil. Spark plug. Carb cleaned.

    Hi,
Honda engines are particularly sensitive to dirt/trash in the fuel system. There is a fine mesh filter in the base of the tank, a fuel shutoff and the carb itself. You can shine a floshlight through the gas cap opening to see the filter. You can remove and disassemble the carb to clean it. The one unusual thing is that rotary shutoff. If you notice it is held together by one or two screws. It too can be disassembled to clean the spiral path fuel flows in to pass through it. It should definitely not be omitted as a place to clean.
    Peace,
    Clarke
