I have a swollen bump behind my ear. It hurts badly. And pain goes from behind ear to my jaw. Not sure what it is or what to do. I tried to poke with needle to drain but only made it hurt and swell up more.

The only option is to see your doctor.

Do not poke it. There's no way that you can make any needle you use sterile. You will, and have, done more harm than good.

If it hurts, then see your doctor. There's really no other option.
