    Is bactrim safe to take at 32 weeks of pregnacey
    I'm 32 weeks pregnant almost 33 weeks on staturday, but I have a uti and I went to the er and they new I'm pregnant so they gave me bactrim for the uti, now is this safe to take

    If the ER gave it to you it should be safe to take. However if your not fully comfortable you should call your OB. Actually, call anyway so they know your on it. If they don't want you taking that then they should call you in a different prescription.

    It's a Sulfamethoxazole and contra-indicated (not recommended). It may, however, be the only choice.

    I would never second guess a Physician BUT I would call my OB/GYN and ask.
