I have been trying to find this movie I watched in the 90's (I believe). It was about a man who met a woman in the bookstore she owned or worked in. He was looking for a rare book and she had to find it. The fell in love and started an on again off again romance. The movie was set in a country where the houses were very small and close together. Most of the scenes were set in this bookstore if I remember correctly. The man was either a writer or a reporter. He fell on hard times which caused some turmoil in their relationship. At the end of the movie they end up getting married and having a child. Hoping you can bring my search to an end. Any feedback will help. Thanks
