How old are you and do you have oseteoporosis? If you have bone loss in your hip, then you should not compromise the hip by excersizing that area of your body.

Only your doctor can really tell you, since no one here will know the amount of loss, and what other treatments the doctor may be doing.

Brittania you are young to be burdened with osteo and I hope you have a good doctor who recommends regular bone density tests.

Doctors recommend that osteo patients walk in order to strengthen muscles. Strengthening Lowe body muscles will increase your comfort level. I wish you luck in finding a proper balance.
