Automatic Icemaker Not Working


My power went out due to a storm for several days. It was restored over 24 hours ago but my automatic icemaker has not produced a single cube. I do not know how to begin to troubleshoot the issue. It is the type that has a metal bar that releases the ice into a container underneath.

Make sure your coils are clean under the unit. You clean them with 409 or another spray cleaner and a spray of water from a spray nozzle on a hose. If the coils are dirty it will not make ice.
