    Thyroid condition
    Hi,
Am 25 years male. I had doubt on thyroid and got tested. The report says 0.33 - 5.55 is normal and I am 5.95. My doctor gave me Eltroxin 25mcg for the cure and asked me to take it daily in the noon. But when I googled Eltroxin is to increase the thyroid production in the body and should be taken empty stomach
DID MY DOCTOR GAVE ME THE CORRECT MEDICINE.
    Please advice. Thanks a lot.

Take on an empty stomach. Preferably right when you wake up in the morning about 30 minutes prior to eating breakfast.

My question is that... if it increases the thyroid production in the body and am already high on thyroid... is the medicine correct for me.

    0.33 - 5.55 is average

Mine is 5.95 which is 0.4% more.

If you have hyperthyroidism, over active thyroid, then this medication is not for you. This is for people with hypothyroidism.
