My boyfriend is currently on a 3 year joint suspension, he was arrested a couple of days ago and they charged him with furnishing marijuana to a minor which isn't true it was his friend but the arresting officer charged him with it because his friend had no sort of previous criminal history . He did have marijuana on him but in no way was selling it . Im pregnant with our first son due any day now and really need some insight of what is most likely to happen .he and his probation officer have a very nice relationship , he recently started his assigned community service .if anyone could help I would really appreciate it. And if I were to hire a defense attorney how effective do you think it would be in getting him no jail time sentenced
