I tried to file the taxes through taxactonline, when I entered the 1099 -misc amount of 8400 from box 7 the total refund was in negative .
And I was in OPT till December 15.

Can I cliam moving expense as I changed 2 jobs with in the same year and these expnses are not reimbursed by employer.

Please suggets me how I can make my returns maximum.

Yes, you CAN claim moving expenses on Form 3903.

The reason the refund went negeative is becauise you must pay the 15.3% self-employment tax on the $8,400.
