Manitoba canada spousal abuse claim filing limitations
I have been divorced for 10 years.During the divorce proceedings abuse by the husband was not included in the settlement agreement. There is now a likelihood of the husband going to court to appeal spousal support. If this occurs, can abuse charges bemade,or are they subject to statute of limitations?

Would like more information to give a qualified answer, but in Canada there are no statues of limitations on this type abuse. In essence, it can be filed anytime.

He has been your ex-husband for 10 years and he is still thinking about appealing the portion of the divorce decree concerning alimony? I would think the right to appeal would have long since passed.
