How do I fix a lose knob
Yesterday I was turning off the water in my bathtub. I turned the knob to shut the water off. Then the knob popped out a bit and the water ran at full blast. The knob got lose and I don't know how to get it back in.

    Can anyone help me?

Edit: BTW I forgot to mention I turned off the hot water through a knob in the back. This makes it harder to turn on and off the hot water though.

It may not be a knob problem. What brand of faucet is it? Is the handle [knob] plastic or metal?

It seems to be a metal knob.

Not sure for the brand. If it's not the knob then it's something that came lose on the inside of the knob.

My knob you turn it to turn the water on and off (not the push in/out type). Well the knob popped out basically. I was able to slow down the flow of the water when I tried to pop it back in but there's too much pressure whether the water is on or off.
