My child's father got out of prison back in April and we decided to pick up where we left off. Just recently we had a dispute about him not wanting me to be in the presence of men. So i told him fine, only cause i was trying to respect his feelings. Being funny, i said to him, well i think u should give me the same respect and not be around other women. Not expecting the response i got, this man said to me, oh its different with him cause he can protect himself when it comes to women but says he has to protect me against men. I feel that is an excuse so he can do what he wants. He broke up with me because i told him i would not be disrespectful to him and that i deserve my respect as well and i wouldn't be a dummy and subject myself to that kind of disrespect at all. I love him with all my heart but he doesn't like to compromise but wants u to compromise with him and make him happy and i wont live like that. We haven't talked in 3 days. What can i do?
