    I was sent a 10 day notice of intent to take default judgment. What do I do?

    Credit card company sued me for credit card debt from former company I work ed for madjistrate made judgment for $1,900 , creditor was asking for $8000 creditor appealed judgment I was sreved notice of appeal notified prothonatary of intent to defend any 3 weeks later I get the notice in the mail.of intent to take default judgment

    What Country is this in? Based on the terminology used I'm guessing its not the USA or the UK.

    A protonotary is what they call the clerk of court in a few states and Canadian provinces.

    It looks to me that the protonotary did not receive the intent to defend. I suggest you call the PN's office and ask if it's in the file.

    BTW this isn't UK as that would be County Court and not Magistrate as mentioned here.
