I have just recently lost my job and am waiting for them to call me back in. I still owe 1600 left on my probation which originally start at 4000. How long will I serve in jail or will I just turn myself in and wait to get booked in and leave on an r.o.r. bond?

Yo are going back in for the full amount of time you would have served had you not gotten probation.

And they aren't going to turn you loose on bond after violating your probation.

They MAY extend your probation, to allow you time to pay. They may end your probation and turn the restitution into a civil judgment. They may violate you and make you do your time.

It IS restitution, isn't it? Probation fees aren't that high, and they're charged monthly - not as a bulk payment...

In any case, if you've made a good faith effort at paying, they won't put you jail over money.
