Just moved intno a home that had been vacant 2 years. Water was coming out of the faucets in spurts, now we have very little or no water trickling out.

Does it have a well or city water?

Start by removing the aerators from ALL faucets (see image) and remove all hoses from washing machine or the washing machine valves. Now, run water out the outside faucets first (no aerators to clog) and then start running water from all faucets, one at a time, until each runs clean/clear.

Clean the aerators and replace to each faucet.

Hope that fixes you up, but I'm going to bet that the toilet(s) will have an issue or two... like dried seals/bad flappers, etc. If so, pop back and let us know if we can help, OK?
