How come I find it hard to trust people? People tell me something about my boyfriend and I go ask him if it was true? He says its not true and tells me not to believe them what they say and trust him. I just stay quiet and he keeps telling that nicely, hugs me and tells me in the eye? I don't know but I don't know what to believe. Only been twice this happened and I wish I can earn his trust like he has my trust! Once he lied to me but I don't know if he was looking at me in the eye. Every time I think he lies I don't bother saying anything and not look at him

If you don't trust this guy, if he has a history of lying to you, you need to leave him alone.
This business of not looking him in the eye to see if he is telling you the truth makes no sense. Are you afraid he is lying? Ignoring a lie will not make it true.

Sounds to me like you don't trust him. If this relationship is important to you, you need to act quickly. Have a serous talk with him about your doubts and fears. Be 100% true and honest with your feelings towards him. If you hold anything back, you will feel like your hiding something and it will show. At this point if he doesn't open up to you, well then you have a problem. Trust is a fragile thing. It is very hard to build and almost impossible to repair once broken. Without trust there is no relationship!
