My friend I met two years ago, has a boyfriend I have known and loved for more than half of my life. She just told me today, and has no idea I love him (I mean love him) and I really want to date him without hurting me, my friend, or my friend's boyfriend! What do I do?!

Girl you need to sort things out with your mate this is more important than any boy.frinds are the importance of life I'm 14 but this is what I said when I was 5.
My mum said that being happy is the key to life.one day at school the teacher assigned us a task say we wanted to be when we were older,I wrote down happy.the teacher said I didn't get the exercise and I said they didn't get life.

This is a very puzzling question, since you seem to be leaving the poor guy out of the picture. What if he does love her and has no romantic interest in you? Isn't that something that you should have found out by now, 'over half your life' as you say? Even if you are quite young, that's a very long time. You have no right nor would it make any sense (statistically) to announce to your friend some sort of dibs on him just because you wanted him first.

You do nothing. This guy obviously does not like you and maybe he really likes your friend as well. Why would you drop this information on your friend, what would be the point? That would be a very selfish thing to do.
