Don't remember exactly, but I think a boy threw some seeds before the storm and then a massive tree grew to the sky. He climbed up and there was a princess and some evil characters. All I remember the movie was really groovy, a real adventure with wild chases etc.

Does anyone have any idea what it was? It came out around the same time as the animated "80 days around the world" Asian movie.

On my end, I have been looking for this title for the last 2 days - courtesy of Yahoo, Google and IMDB. Search engines appear to be completely useless if you need to find something vague.
