    Confused
Ok so I and my partner haven't been trying to get pregnant but we also haven't been using protection as often as we should either... Needless to say I am now 3 days late but have been having cramps, tender breasts, and my stomach has been a little uneasy which would lead me to think my period should've started on time.. I decided it wouldn't hurt to take a pg test but it came back negative. Funny because I was pretty sure it would say yes because I'm not normally this late... So I am feeling pretty silly and confused... if someone has some advice then I'd be very grateful! Because I feel like I am going crazy

Make sure to take a few tests but space them out between maybe every day to three days. Sometimes the test can be wrong. Or your paranoid and getting sick at the same time. Same thing happened to me.

Thank you and I will do that! My partner and I were planing on trying to get pregnant in a few months or more but with the late period and odd cramping I thought maybe I could be now... The negative test did kind of throw me for a loop because I just feel different and can't quite put my finger on it... Hopefully I'll now for sure soon because I really don't want to get my hopes up

If you haven't, make sure you take the test using first morning urine for best accuracy.

Should I wait a few more days and then try first thing in a morning?

It would be best. You see, 3 days isn't considered late here in the medical community for even the most regular woman. We would like to see you skip the period completely and wait to see if next month's period comes. There are many reasons for missed or skipped periods aside from pregnancy.

Ok and thank you. So lol I will wait it out that really takes a lot of fear off my mind :) but I hope that it doesn't mean that there is something wrong with me.
