There is a lien for about $2,400 on my the house my mom transferred to me, my sister and brother. We are trying to take out a LOC against the house to provide for my mom, but this lien is causing problems. It was paid but not closed. How can we get it closed.

Prove it is paid, get the person who issued it to show it paid and closed.
