My 94 Accord had headgasket replaced, the coolant temperature sensor broke in the process. The car drove nicely in town and on freeway with gasket replaced. However, the second I replaced the broken sensor, the car will not accelerate (just barely) and the check engine light is on continuously. There is no engine code displayed when I connect the troubleshoot cable on passenger side, no blinking, just continuous check engine light on.

What the heck is going on? Is it the computer? Could my intake be clogged or solenoid damaged and not reading on engine code?

Does the Check Engine Light consistently come on for 2 seconds and then go out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II)?
