How to treat a vaginal tear?
I had sex for the first time a couple days ago with a fairly well endowed partner. The sex was fairly rough, which hurt A LOT, but I was enjoying myself and I thought it was just because it was my first time. There was a fair amount of blood, but I also assumed that it was because it was my first time. With a further inspection I noticed a small, what I would call superficial, tear at the bottom of my vaginal opening (the perineum). I was wondering if there was a way to treat this small tear so that it would not become reaccuring as a result of a build up of less flexible scar tissue. And of course I could just be paranoid and this is all just a result of my first time. Any advice would be welcomed and also give me a little reassurance. Thanks.

If it's a superficial tear it will likely heal on its own, but there's really no way for us, or even you, to know how superficial it is. A visit to the doctor would be your best bet.

Just have to add, the vagina is an amazing thing. It can stretch to accommodate a baby. It's unlikely that this tear was caused by your partners size. It's more likely because of rough sex. I have yet to meet a guy that can compare to an 8 pound infant. ;)
