    Sprinkler system
I'm new at this. I'm planning to put in a sprinkler system, but the flow rate in my house is only 6 gpm. Tapping in near the water meter is not an option, it's on the other side of the driveway. So I have to tap in from the basement and out. Is there a way to increase the flow rate? Thank you.

You can install booster pump. That will supply your new sprinkler system with enough pressure. Also, if you have very low pressure, install large diameters pipe. For example, run 1 1/2" runs and attach sprinkler heads directly to 1 1/2" pipe. Install only a few sprinklers on each branch. That will maximize your volume delivery. Hope that helps. Back to you. In addition I would take the feed off where the water enters the house. Good luck, Tom

Another thing may help it to split up into zones as much as you can, Example, 2 at a time instead of 8 sprinklers at a time?
