Ok I loved this girl for about two years and I got to know her and I finally had the guts to tell her how I feel about her. So I poured my heart out to her and she told me that she doesn't like me that way and thinks of me as a friend and we kind of shrugged of the conversation.

But I still love her and I don't think I could like someone else, please tell me how I could get her to like me please. (Please don't say there isn't a way)

Sorry guy, but you can't make some one have feelings for you, and I know rejection hurts a lot, but its best to just leave her be, and focus on something else until you get over it.

Not accepting that you cannot control the feelings of others, only yours is a life lesson to learn to deal with, as is being rejected.

This is probably what you aren't wanting to read but reality is reality. Move on. Happened to me too :) and you aren't the only one.

I really think this has happened to most of us in our lifetimes. It really seems to be part of growing up. You can't make someone love you and so you need to deal with that and just continue on your way. It hurts and I know you feel like you can't get over it but you will eventually and you'll be OK. Don't waste your life swooning over someone who has already told you they only like you as a friend. It's called facing the facts.

Facing the facts my butt. Dude, these guys don't know what they are talking about. If you are ready to admit defeat, then say "ok she doesn't like me, I'll deal with it." If you aren't ready, then keep trying. Same thing happened to me, and I'll be honest she still doesn't like me but that's fine, I'm not giving up and she is starting to like me better. My advice would be to not remind her all the time how you feel about her, but instead say things like "you look beautiful/pretty in that dress" or whatever, but don't say it if you don't mean it and don't do it unnaturally. Also be nice to her, help her out. If she says "I'm cold" and you happen to have a jacket, offer it. Even if she doesn't take it I can almost guarantee she will remember the gesture. And also be interested in everything she is saying to you. She talks to you, you listen, and show that you are listening. Contribute to the conversation, but don't drown her out. Take special care to listen to what she has to say, girls love guys who listen to them. BUT DON'T BE PUSHY!! I was and it got me nowhere, it took a while to build up a friendship again. But trust me, she already likes you as a friend, so you're halfway there! Just don't give up, don't try too hard, and you'll be good. And for all the other comments, screw off. :)
